I just don't know what comes after acceptable to reach the professional sound and was interested in whether a plugin/suite can just magically add a bit of sparkle to it to make it sound better without very much effort. I've done some demos at home, that will convey the sound of each instrument and are listenable. I'm simply interested in what these can do to make my sound more pro.

If you want to do it yourself.the best thing you could do is actually see what a mastering engineer does first.
